    Follow

The Single Switch (1 gang) Touchpoint unit itself consumes 3W of power when in sleep mode, and up to 7.5W when the display is powered on and in use. The maximum power used is 307.5W, which is the wattage used by both the Touchpoint unit (7.5W) and the maximum allowed wattage for an incandescent or halogen bulb (300W).

The Double Switch (2 gang) Touchpoint consumes 4.5W of power when in sleep mode, and up to 9.5W when the display is powered on and in use. The maximum power used is 609.5W, which is the wattage used by both the Touchpoint unit (9.5W) and the maximum allowed wattage for 2 different fixtures using incandescent or halogen bulbs (2 fixtures X 300W per fixture = 600 W).
