NuBryte, the award winning smart home at the switch, today announced its smart home integration with Google Home. Google Home, with its voice activated speaker, is designed for hands-free help from the Google Assistant to make everyday tasks easier, while also controlling other smart home products.
Control your NuBryte connected home with your voice – now with the Google Assistant.
With this newest collaboration, NuBryte homeowners will enjoy voice control capabilities to manage their home's smart lighting. Users can simply say "Ok Google" to seamlessly interact with their NuBryte connected lights to turn their lighting on/off, dim, or brighten. Looking to control several rooms' lights at once, hands-free? Simple. Users can group rooms together to turn all the lights off at once, or control lights for each room individually using voice commands.
"We're committed to partnering with innovative products like Google Home to bring enhanced capabilities to NuBryte. With this integration, users can use voice activation tools for more efficient and comfortable smart home control," said Steven Gutteridge, President at NuBryte. "More plans are in place to further leverage our open API, and integrate with top smart home products that reinforce NuBryte as the center of the smart home."
NuBryte is an early-access partner to the Direct Action API, developed for customers to interact with compatible smart home devices through the Google Assistant. NuBryte's integration with the Google Assistant coincides with Google I/O, the company's annual developer conference and showcase starting Wednesday 17 May, 2017.
NuBryte combines top smart features – home security, smart lighting, intercom and home hub – all built into the light switch. The intuitive touchscreen interface doesn't need programming, making NuBryte a home automation tool that is simple to setup and easy for a homeowner to use and maintain. Smart Switches, coming this summer, further extend NuBryte voice-controlled functionalitythroughout the home.
This integration adds to NuBryte voice controlled lighting with Amazon Alexa, and Google Calendar for in-home event alerts. Integrations with Nest and IFTTT are also underway, as well as additional integrations that are planned throughout 2017.
